Using a road in Rome, close to the Air BnB my wife and I stayed at. We saw a tagged statement in English “Where is the Truth.” After walking up and down this street with smell of homemade pasta, wine and the occasional siting of pistachio ice cream, I kept thinking to myself that I needed to take the opportunity to make a statement. By using this fellow taggers paint job, and wanting to keep this photo shop edit within the city of Rome this is what I came up with.

The idea, was to combine the new age popularity of tagging with an old age sculpture by the great Michelangelo. Thus creating something entirely new and fresh for 2020. The question remains a huge statement, relevant more than ever across the world (especially in my home country the USA.) Where the media portrays a blinding smoke screen of half truths, and lies to confuse the mass population.

As we venture into another election year, where major news outlets have too much to lose by posting the truth. I ask and plead with everyone to have a fervent search for factual based readings. Don’t get swept up in the emotions that the media heavily draws upon, those emotions are what steer us away from logic and truth.
