Last year came with a lot of growth and experimentation with my art. This is one of my favorite pieces that came from those experiments. I like to think Im some sort of mad scientist when I’m learning and creating.

What it was for: Originally this was a promotional marketing piece for my Instagram account, that never made it to the website until now. That is why you see the watermarks “cam the squid” in the background of the picture. That way if people were to screenshot/download or use the picture without consent they’d have the owners name tattooed all over the image.

How it was made: This piece particularly was done by switching back and forth from Photoshop and Adobe illustrator. I had to switch back and forth and upload a few different times to use different tools in order to get the desired effect. What I did was use a stamp method to create the paint splatter/smudge technique in the background. It came out better than I thought it would.
