Japanese Tea Garden – San Francisco

I have always enjoyed the architecture, and culture of the Japanese. We headed out to San Francisco this past summer and stumbled upon this beautiful and serene area close by the Golden Gate Bridge.

If you are looking for a lush and zen like area to help you relax, head over to the Japanese Tea Garden. There is plenty of variations of green vegetation through out, with some unique buildings that mimic ancient Japan. While visiting you are immediately teleported to a time where cell phones, and computer games don’t exist.

We, here at Squidink felt a deep calm meditative state within the walls of this beautiful construct. We were warmed by a tranquil tea, served inside the garden. Also we enjoyed the bright orange and yellow coy fish swimming through the clear water.

This area of San Francisco is about 5 acres according to the Tea Garden website. (you can find out more about the garden at the website) It was also said to be a gift of prosperity to the wonderful city by the bay, and all those who live there know of the prosperity(繁栄) the city has been blessed with.

Although the major tourist sites of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate bridge draw a lot of attention, I highly recommend grabbing your sweetheart and taking her to this beautiful serene garden. Drink some tea, and don’t forget some chocolate for an added indulgence while walking through this joyful oxygen plantation.
