We here at Squidink-art.com, visited the great Utah desert this summer. The heat and rock were unforgettable in July, and it was well worth the experience. If you are passing by Utah, stop in at this great state park Goblin Valley and experience the Goblin’s Lair trail.
The sandstone shaped rock transports you to another planet. As if you were a great explorer stumbling upon an undiscovered world. Goblin Valley will surely make you feel like you are walking on Mars. Because of the beautiful experience we had, we wanted to share with you the different views and rock formations that we were able to photograph.
Once you have trekked through the Goblin’s Lair, we highly recommend going through Little Wild Horse Canyon for an 8 mile roundtrip hike. Bring lots of water as it will be hot in the summer time. However the canyon won’t always be hot as you’ll be able to enjoy the shade from the beautiful slot canyons located west of the state park.
If you decide to go in the spring time you do have to worry about Flash Flood warnings. We suggest planning your trip around the weather and of course bring ample H2O for everyone who is going. We recommend that you get a campsite and spend two days here, as you’ll want to digest all of its beauty in one small trip.
